Celia Pacquola takes home ‘Best Comedy Performance’ at the 2017 AACTA Awards

The accolades keep rolling in for Celia Pacquola, this time winning big at the 2017 AACTA Awards.

The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards are a continuum of the AFI Awards, which have honoured screen excellence in Australia since 1958. The AACTA Awards recognise film, television and documentary screen craft excellence.

Pacquola was tapped on the shoulder for the ‘Best Comedy Performance’ award for her role as Emma in Rosehaven, beating out Rob Sitch in Utopia, Debra Lawrance in Please Like Me and Darren Gilshenan in No Activity.

Furthermore, Celia will be bringing her brand new stand-up show All Talk to Melbourne and Brisbane next year. Tickets are on sale here.

The 2017 AACTA Awards took place at The Star Event Centre in Sydney on Wednesday 6 December. Congratulations Celia!
