Hannah Gadsby nominated for Best Comedy Show at Edinburgh Festival Fringe

The accolades keep coming for Hannah Gadsby’s self-described swansong Nanette, having today picked up a nomination for Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The nomination comes hot on the heels of Gadsby winning the 2017 Helpmann Award for Best Comedy Performer, alongside the Barry Award for Best Show at the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Needless to say, Nanette is taking the comedy world by storm.

Joining Gadsby in the nominations are Ahir Shah, Elf Lyons, John Robins, Jordan Brookes, Mae Martin, Mat Ewins, Sophie Wilan and Spencer Jones.

The winner will be announced on Saturday 26 August at a ceremony in Edinburgh.

Next month Hannah will be bringing Nanette for a season at the Sydney Opera House in September and a string of encore performances at the Arts Centre Melbourne. You can view all tour details here.

Congratulations Hannah!
