Fringe World award for Claire Hooper’s ‘Biscuits’
Claire Hooper’s brand new show, ‘Biscuits’ has won a Comedy Weekly award.
Debuting her fresh hour in her hometown, Claire has once again proven herself to be one of the country’s best loved comedic talents as she wooed audiences last week over a five-night run. Well known for her role on Foxtel’s Great Australian Bake Off, Hooper’s endearing presence is no more electric than when she is seen live on stage.
Fringe World’s Comedy Weekly awards are assigned to the festival’s top comedy shows, of which there are nearly two hundred in the 2020 programme. With numerous stand-up comics kicking off festival season in Perth this awards serves as true recognition of Claire’s mastery of the form.
