Image is artwork for 'A Rational Fear: Election Edition.' The design has a bold, retro political poster style with a pink background, blue and red text, and white stars along the edges. The words 'A RATIONAL FEAR' appear at the top, with 'ELECTION EDITION' in a red banner below. Behind the text, an illustration of Earth is partially covered by stylized flames. In the foreground, black-and-white cutout photos of two hosts, Lewis Hobba and Dan Ilic, are placed. Lewis wears glasses and smiles, while Dan has a serious expression with a beard. Political-style campaign buttons with their names—'LEWIS HOBBA' and 'DAN ILIC'—are placed near them, designed in red, white, and blue. Below, in cursive text, it says 'The Podcast Party.'"

A Rational Fear

Winner of Best Comedy Podcast at the Australian Podcast Awards four years in a row.

Hosted by Dan Ilic and Lewis Hobba, A Rational Fear brings together the smartest and funniest comedians and experts on stage to laugh at the end of the world.

It’s fast, it’s funny, it laughs in the face of the world’s worst news.

At the time of writing — Dan is hedging that this show will be a federal election special — but in the advent that the election is before comedy festival — then this will be a “how to evade deportation” special — in the advent that Dan is already deported — Lewis will lead a comedy roast of the opposition of the day as per the wishes of our new authoritarian overloads.

Our line up for the evening will be:

Dan Ilic
Lewis Hobba
Alice Fraser
Tom Ballard
John Delmenico
Vidya Rajan
Melissa McGlensey
DJ Andy McClelland
